Australian Spotted Ducks

An American breed of Bantam Duck that weighs about 2-2.2 lbs and is a layer of off-white to light green small to medium eggs.

They come in 3 colour-phases, black headed, blue headed and silver headed.

A friendly, hardy little breed of duck. Very self sufficient when free-ranged and the Hens make excellent, fierce mothers.

Muscovy Ducks

Originating in South America and Mexico, the domesticated Muscovy duck is one of the few breeds NOT related to Mallards, so if crossbred with other breeds will produce a sterile Mule-Duck.

Drakes will reach up to 15lbs, while Hens weigh in at about 9lbs at maturity. Nice large calm ducks, that comunicate with hisses and quiet squeaks, tail-wagging and head-bobbing.

Hens are great mothers, and largest batch of ducklings we had to-date from our girls was 22!

Currently we work mainly with Blue, Black, Chocolate and Silver.

Pilgrim Geese

An American breed in the Light class, with males weighing in up to 18 lbs and females around 16 lbs. One of the few breeds of geese in the world that is Autosexing(can be sexed at hatch by colour).

This breed has been with us for just over a decade, and we look forward to working it for many more years. Calm and quiet(as far as geese go), Pilgrims are very easy to work with, the hens lay around 30-40 eggs a year, and will hatch 2 clutches in a season if you let them.

Pomeranian Saddleback Geese

An old German breed in the Medium weight class, weighing from 16-18 lbs.

In north America only available in either Grey or Buff saddleback, but in Europe also come in solid White and Grey. A nice utility goose, that is easy to raise. Average of about 30 eggs a year.

The Pomeranian can be a somewhat more excitable and chatty goose, very suitable as an early warning system/watchdogs.
